Police are searching for a man they say stabbed his girlfriend and her three daughters in a New York City hotel, killing the woman and one of the girls.
NEW YORK (AP) – A woman and three children have been critically wounded in a stabbing at a New York City hotel.
It happened just after 10 a.m.at the Ramada Inn on North Gannon Avenue in Willowbrook.
Police said Sykes and the woman, whom officials did not immediately identify, had an argument on Tuesday afternoon and were seen at a delicatessen with the children early on Wednesday morning. A 2-year-old girl who was also stabbed is in critical but stable condition following emergency surgery, they said.
Cutler’s shocked aunt said she last saw Cutler and Sykes on Monday night when they picked up the children from her Brooklyn home.
As of Wednesday, around 41 hotels housed more than 2,500 homeless individuals, including more than 600 children, de Blasio said.

Sykes allegedly called his mother saying he killed his girlfriend and his mother called 911 to report the incident, the source said. Sykes was the father of the 5-month-old, police said. The 5-month-old is Sykes’ daughter.
