According to the report, the female driver called the Scottish SPCA for help after she spotted an injured parrot over road – but when the officials of emergency services arrived at the place – they found out that the parrot was actually a Christmas hat.
Later, the official of the SPCA said “The hat has green holly which she assumed was the body and a red bobble sticking out which she thought was the parrot’s had”.
