The accused murderer initially claimed to police that the baby was hers and that she had given birth during a fight with Angelikque.

The baby was unhurt and is being cared for at a hospital in the Bronx.

Sutton’s family declined to talk to reporters Saturday morning as they left Montefiore Medical Center, where the baby, named Genesis, was recovering. ‘She said she was due next Monday. She had reportedly been telling neighbors she was pregnant before the horrific incident. Neighbors are stunned by the violence. She would often post pictures of babies and baby clothes on her Facebook page and told friends that she was having a child. “Sad, young girls, very sad”.

Wade’s horrified boyfriend called the cops after walking in on the blood-drenched maniac holding the newborn, sources said.

The child – who was a week premature – has since been rushed to a nearby hospital.

A 22-year-old pregnant woman was stabbed to death on Friday in a NY City apartment and investigators have a suspect into custody.

Sutton, who had just graduated from St. John’s with a criminal justice degree, lived with her two sisters as she awaited her infant’s arrival.

She then allegedly shouted “it’s my baby!” as she walked down the street. A message left with her boyfriend wasn’t returned.

“It looks like the baby was surgically removed”, Bronx Councilman Andy King told the Post on Friday outside Wade’s house.

Sutton and the baby’s father, Patrick Bradley, had registered for baby gifts on the baby-gift registry site The Bump.

Witness Diana Rivera told The NY Daily News that she saw the victim being brought out of the home on a stretcher.

“I don’t even know people around here like that. Were there any survivors?” he was overheard crying in the emergency room.

The bloody crime scene baffled investigators, who ordered blood tests to confirm that the baby girl belonged to Sutton, not the suspect.
