The district attorney released blood tests Wednesday showing that Lakeisha Holloway had more than the state’s legal limit of pot in her blood.

She is due back in court for a status hearing on January 20.
Holloway’s test showed the active marijuana in her blood was 3.5 ng/mL and the metabolite was 23.6 ng/mL.
Lakeisha Holloway, 24, is accused of intentionally driving through a crowd on the Las Vegas strip on December 20, killing 32-year-old Jessica Valenzuela of Buckeye, Arizona, and injuring 35 others.
There is new information about a deadly crash in Las Vegas.
Holloway had told police she was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. “Whereas somebody who doesn’t use marijuana, they smoke a joint and they’re driving like they’re actually a drunk driver”, he continued.
Holloway then backed up and allegedly drove back into the crowd a second time as several people jumped onto her front window in an attempt to stop her.
Holloway, who legally changed her name to Paris Paradise Morton in October, had turned her life around after a troubled childhood, according to a 2012 video by the Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center, which helps at-risk youth with education and career training.
Holloway, 24, is facing charges of murder, leaving the scene of an accident, and child abuse.
Holloway has made one court appearance and hasn’t been asked to enter a plea, but Abood and Coffee say they expect she’ll plead not guilty.

Prosecutors say they expect to file additional charges as police continue to interview witnesses, possibly including attempted murder.
