The circumstances regarding the collision are still under investigation, but the man operating the jet ski, 29-year-old Jody Kreycik of Rapid City, has been charged with boating while intoxicated.
The Pennington County Sheriff’s Office says searchers on Monday used a remotely operated underwater vehicle to locate the body of 33-year-old Gabrielle Fisher. No one answered at a phone number listed for him.
Lake Pactola is about 20 miles east of Rapid City.
Our Black Hills FOX News reporter on scene was told another person involved in the accident was transported to Rapid City Regional Hospital.
The water rescue team for Rapid City and Pennington County was dispatched to try to find the missing woman Friday night. Responders began gathering at the north boat launch Friday night. When conditions outside made it too hard to continue the search, it was called off until Saturday morning.
