The swan’s possible death comes less than a month after a mob of selfie-crazed beachgoers in Buenos Aires killed a small dolphin by hoisting the animal out of the water and passing it around.
It was believed the women walked away with her friends after taking her snaps, and there are mixed witness accounts of whether the swan was left to die on the beach, or if it swam off.
A smiling woman is seen pulling the bird out of the lake and clutching it by its wings to take a picture. “Sad she doesn’t go to jail for this murder”.
After the tourist got her selfie, she left the swan on the beach where it later died.
They described how the swan did not respond to the woman approaching it, as the birds are used to tourists visiting the lake.

In Argentina, a rare baby dolphin was plucked from the sea and passed around a crowd of people who wanted photos taken with it. Days later, a man in Florida was caught on camera yanking a shark from the water by the tail for a photo op.
