Woman shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ brandishes child’s severed head in Moscow

“Investigators suspect that the nanny waited till the parents had left the apartment with the elder child then killed the little girl and set the apartment on fire”, says Russia Today.

She was detained on Monday near Oktyabrskoye Polye Metro station in northwestern Moscow, where she was waving the child’s severed head and shouting “Allahu Akbar, I am a terrorist, I am a suicide bomber”. The video reportedly shows the woman wandering around with the child’s head, which she had taken out of her bag after being approached by a policeman who wanted to check her papers. I saw that she had a bloodied head in her arms, but I thought it was not real.

By reports, she later told police she murdered the kid on account of her own spouse’s betrayal.

In what police are calling a psychotic episode which led to homicide, an Uzbekistani Muslim woman has been arrested for decapitating a child who was in her care.

Bobokulova could reportedly be heard yelling “for a terrorist, for your death” and “Allahu Akbar” in the video, The Guardian said, citing RBC newspaper.

Earlier on Sunday (Moscow local time), police said a child’s headless body had been found in an apartment block near the same Metro station that had been set on fire. She then pulled out the child’s head and started screaming when authorities asked for identification.

‘I can tell you only one thing – the relatives are shocked with the cruel murder but they were not surprised. Investigator Olga Lapteva said Bobokulova was suspected of committing an “extremely serious crime” that warranted “a mandatory prison sentence of considerably more than three years”.

On Tuesday morning, Muscovites brought heaps of flowers, toys, chocolate and baby food to an improvised memorial near the metro station to commemorate the murdered child. Specialists promptly requested a psychiatric test of the lady in an offer to comprehend her motives.

“The channels themselves chose to not show insane people, but we support them”, he said.
