The chase began around 10:30 p.m. Friday after Pasadena police received a 911 call that the woman had argued with her parents and tried to run them over.
Police responded and discovered a “verbal altercation” situation at the Pasadena home.
“She’s being booked on a number of charges including assault with a deadly weapon for trying to hit her parents with her SUV, felony evading and reckless driving”, explained Pasadena Police Lt. Vasken Gourdikian.
It was a wild end to an hours-long pursuit as a female suspect was arrested overnight after stripping naked on the street in downtown Los Angeles. She then headed north on the Ventura (101) Freeway into Agoura Hills, Woodland Hills and then into Thousand Oaks.
The police were initially pursuing Gonzalez after she fled Pasadena in her family’s SUV, but they gave up “due to the fact that we knew who we were pursing, we had a named suspect”.
Eventually, the woman pulled over on a side street and began to walk around downtown Los Angeles, unaware that a news copter was capturing her every move, which was being streamed online. According to The New York Daily News, the owner called 9-1-1 after Gonzalez was denied entry by the club’s bouncer.
Asked why she was running from police, Gonzalez replied that she was the police. I am a trained policeman. You are a legal a slave trader.
