Woman sues Cosby, Hefner, claiming abuse at Playboy Mansion

She has accused Hefner of negligent infliction of emotional distress and conspiracy to commit sexual battery.

Dozens of women had come forward in recent years to claim Cosby drugged them and then assaulted them.

In the former dispute, she claimed she felt dizzy and sick after Cosby gave her a drink and escorted her to a room, where she lost consciousness and awoke naked with Cosby licking her toes. Not only did Hefner put “young and impressionable and possibly minor children” in harm’s way by inviting them to the mansion and giving them alcohol, but he knew or should have known that Cosby had a “history of severe and serial sexual battery and/or possibly rape of women”, the suit adds, per TMZ.

She first went to police with her claim in early 2015 and later filed a federal lawsuit against Cosby that she quietly dismissed in February. “She understands that the wheels of justice turn slowly, and that this is an arduous journey, but she’s in it for one reason, and one reason only – justice and vindication from the man who assaulted her, stole her innocence, and inflicted years of ongoing emotional and psychological trauma”.

Cosby has continually denied sexual assault claims.

Goins’ lawsuit alleges that after drinking the beverage Cosby brought her, she “began to feel ill”.

In most cases, criminal charges can not be pursued because the statute of limitations has expired. After the person she named as her friend told investigators he didn’t know Goins and had never been to the Playboy Mansion, Goins changed her story, saying she was unsure when the party was.

Goins stated that these new allegations on the sexual assault case are not necessarily new, but rather additional crucial details necessarily to close the case thoroughly. The woman says Cosby then took the advantage of her condition to touch and kiss her. “Reality is a situation and I can’t speak”.

A representative for Cosby declined to comment on the lawsuit.

Messages left with Playboy spokeswoman Theresa Hennessey seeking comment from Hefner weren’t immediately returned Tuesday.
