On Friday, July 23, fans and Comic-Con attendees were in for a surprise when Warner Bros. unveiled a first-look trailer of its upcoming superhero film, “Justice League” in Hall H.

You may have seen the newly released pictures for Wonder Woman, but it is this trailer that has everyone excited. Patty Jenkins directs the reboot. “It felt like we were just a vessel for a greater story that we need to share with everyone”, the Israeli star explained. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. “It felt like, now is the time”.

From there, she’s lasso-ing bad dudes across enemy front lines, kicking butt and taking names – maybe most of all that of Trevor, her condescending sidekick (and apparent love interest), whose casual second-class treatment of women isn’t exactly what Wonder Woman is used to, nor eager to accept.

In another scene, Steve had questions about Wonder Woman’s father, but she only replies with: “I had no father, I was brought to life by Zeus”. “She is Wonder Woman”.

He has Wonder Woman.

The image features a profile of the Amazonian superhero in her famous red, blue and gold outfit, clasping a sword against a pink and blue sky, above the words: “Power”. “When the moment came, I could not believe this moment has come”, she said.

The Justice League movie, directed by Zack Snyder and written by Batman v Superman’s Chris Terrio, is set to hit theaters on November 17, 2017.

More surprising was the fact that Warner Bros. also showed a first sample of the Justice League movie, which only began filming two months ago.
