Taking in the full entertainment aspect of the city, Watson was eager to play in the National Basketball Association celebrity game Friday night during All-Star weekend.

Helping his final-day charge is Watson’s PGA Tour conversion rate of just three from his past 10 leads after 54 holes. That was bracketed by two bogeys on his way to a 38 on the front nine.
“Last year was kind of a hot day”. “But I’m really happy with what I’m doing, I’m really happy with the progress I’m making”. “So I can say I played or sat on the bench”.
“All I’m missing is a couple little numbers and a little bit of confidence”, McDowell said. “But it was fun because I was very in control of what I was doing out there”.
Cantlay and McDowell finished their rounds, while Saunders was through 15 holes when play was halted for the night.
He dropped a shot on each of the 13th and 14th and was two-under at the turn, but rallied with three more birdies including a 54-foot putt on the par-3 4th to go joint first.
The Antrim man hit three birdies and two bogeys, bouncing back to pick up a shot on the par-five 17th after bogeying the 16th. He still managed par.
After Friday’s round, Woods explained that he has lowered expectations for himself here in the early stages of his latest comeback attempt.
“If I’ve got a five, six-footer for par I feel I can just go ahead and knock it in”. “And I was like, ‘Just knock it into the stands, just don’t touch me.’ So it worked out”.
Woods is well aware of how hard the Honda venue is, but then again, not many of them are easy.
Riviera was the backdrop for Woods’s initiation onto the tour, and he expresses devotion to the layout despite never having mastered it.
“I look forward to playing with Steve, ” Durant said.
Sick of hearing fans yelling out at golf tournaments?
“I’m really motivated to have a good finish and get myself in the WGC, so I’ll need a big weekend but I’m playing well and definitely capable of pulling it off”, Smith said. He heard plenty of stories about his grandfather, Arnold Palmer, who first brought the masses to golf more than a half-century ago.
“To get the monkey off the back in Australia for my first solo win as a pro was huge for my confidence and I’ll look back on that (in the final round)”, Smith said, having earned a maiden USA victory at the Zurich Classic teams event previous year. “I know there’s a lot of parallels there”.
Stricker had nine birdies in a bogey-free round.

With the afternoon starters on the course, the projected cut line was one-over. He opened with a 69. “That’s that little “X” factor that you can’t go practice”.
