When questioned on when he might return to competitive golf, Woods was hesitant to commit to a date. In his press conference yesterday, Woods had nothing but bad news to bring to the media and mass public.

The golfing icon will reach the landmark birthday at the end of this month, but it is now safe to assume it won’t signal the start of bigger and better things to come.
However, Woods has clearly considered the possibility of the end, and he seems at peace with the prospect of never adding to his incredible resume, including 79 PGA Tour wins and 14 major titles. A staggering number, surely, but what if someone had a sense that this would happen? The same could be said about Woods whose 2015 season had far more lowlights than highlights as he plummeted to No 400 on the world rankings.
“It’s different from the other surgeries I’ve had in the past”. However, if his fellow professionals are anything to go by then golf fans should expect a few more twists in the Tiger Woods tale.

Here is hoping that Woods can simply get back to where he needs to be to function every day, and enjoy his family.
In the lengthy interview, which also covers the decline of his golf career due to painful back injuries, Woods discusses how long-distance realities ended his post-divorce relationship with skier Lindsey Vonn.
“I’ve had a pretty good career for my 20s and 30s”, he said, according to USA Today Sports. “I just want them to understand before they get to Internet age and they log on to something or have their friends tell them something”. You blow out your ACL, which I did, and then I had a reconstruction, and, okay, back in nine months. It’s as if we’ve finally scratched the surface after 20 years of trying to figure him out. Now that Kobe Bryant has announced he’s retiring from basketball, the pro golfer has been thinking long and hard about his own career, and HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that he may be ready to walk away, too.

More details were expected later in the week, but Finchem said it would apply more to the younger players. I think we can all read between the lines there, that he’s…
