Woody to find love in Toy Story 4
Screenwriters (and sometimes actors) Rashida Jones and Will McCormack are writing the script for Toy Story 4, which has a new poster (via Coming Soon), based on a concept by Lasseter, Andrew Stanton, Pete Docter, and Lee Unkrich.

Ellen DeGeneres brought news of Disney/Pixar’s “Finding Nemo” sequel “Finding Dory” to Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif. Friday evening.
Speculation time: In Toy Story 4, which is set after the emotional events of Toy Story 3, we guess Woody could realize that he needs Bo Peep back in his life.
The formal announcement of a Toy Story 4 is somewhat surprising given how the third sequel was created to tie up the story.
Plans were also announced for Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida.
“What we did not realise while we were making the films is that each of the movies is a different genre”. What are your hopes for the movie?
Pixar will be doing a fourth sequel of “Toy Story” and will focus on the love story of Woody and Bo Peep. Bo is basically the only female toy with lines in the first film, and while the following films introduced the likes of Mrs. Potato Head, Jessie, and Barbie, it’s nice to see Toy Story’s OG lady front and center again. But some had feared their love was never going to be as Bo Peep didn’t appear in 2010’s Toy Story 3.
But don’t forget, Pixar isn’t slowing down, and on top of releasing two original films this year (a first, and something they highlighted during the panel) they’vge got Finding Dory, the follow-up to Finding Nemo, hitting next Summer.
“One of the things that was very important for me as an artist is to continue directing”, Lasseter said.
In a very personal manner, Lasseter then revealed the personal inspiration for the love story. We’re also getting a bit of a reunion from HBO’s The Wire, with Dominic West and Idris Elba voicing supporting characters.
