A fight between Fury (25-0-KO18) and Joshua (14-0-KO14) has been talked about naturally for a while now, long before Fury defeated Wladimir Klitschko last Saturday to claim the unified WBA, WBO and IBF world titles in Düsseldorf.

Fury said the Klitschko camp tried every trick to unsettle him. He said he wouldn’t have put it past them to offer him tainted water in the aftermath of the match in Dusseldorf for fear it was drugged. “I was so frightened of being drug tested and failing the drugs test. I didn’t want to take drinks or food from anyone”.
Attention now turns to establishing the identity of Fury’s opponent for his first defence, with Klitschko holding a rematch clause and WBC title holder Deontay Wilder openly targeting a unification bout.
“If people don’t like it, change the channel”, said Fury, still sporting a bruise above his right eye from Saturday’s fight. In a recent newspaper interview, the fiercely religious Fury was quoted as saying that among the “things that need to be accomplished (changed) before the devil comes home…is homosexuality being legal in countries”. He serenaded Klitschko with his own version of the Bette Midler song “Wind Beneath My Wings” on Wednesday, and he celebrated beating him by singing Aerosmith’s “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” in the ring to his wife Paris, who is expecting their third child.
Fury said that he performed the song for Paris and for his fans in Ireland, the UK, the United States and Germany who have supported him throughout his career.
John Fury, the boxer’s father and a former professional heavyweight and bareknuckle fighter, stood up and also made his voice heard at the news conference, insisting that his son’s achievements should be recognised and that he was “the proudest father in the world”. “Do I care? Not really”.
Tyson Fury’s trainer and uncle Peter Fury has revealed his fighter is targeting a rematch with Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley stadium in May.
Tyson says he wasn’t too impressed with Wladimir Klitschko.
“But I’d rather give Hughie a shot than David Haye”.
“I thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, in the power of Jesus I won this in Germany tonight”, said Fury. I’m still Tyson Fury and I’m still going to go and get in an old Land Rover.
