World Leaders Wish Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif A Speedy Recovery
Shehbaz Sharif has stated that the doctors appointed for the medical treatment of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif are satisfied with his rate of recovery, reported Dunya News on Sunday.

His drips and IV lines have also been taken off.
He also expressed appreciation for Prime Minister’s support and said, “I attach great importance to the partnership between Pakistan, the United Nations, and look forward to continuing our work together”.
“If he is able to climb stairs and not get exhausted, he will be released from the hospital, hopefully, within two to three days”.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan phoned Nawaz Sharif to wish him well. He is Masha’Allah recovering speedily.
In a message on micro-blogging website Twitter, Maryam said that Prime Minister Sharif was recuperating speedily.
“PM’s recovery on course”.
“Yes, though his throat sore from the tubes”. He ate a light meal for the first time after he underwent an open heart surgery on Tuesday. He said that unlike the provision for an acting president, there was no provision in the constitution for an acting prime minister and even the principal secretary to the prime minister could not exercise the powers of the prime minister.

The PM is expected to oversee the affairs of government from London after his recovery from the surgery.
