World’s Highest Paid Actors 2015: Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan Join The Ranks
Forbes said Bachchan, 72, “out-earns” the next oldest actor on the list, 63-year-old “Taken” star Liam Neeson, by United States dollars 14 million, thanks to his roles in movies such as 2014’s ” Bhoothnath Returns”.

With Shahrukh Khan making millions of rupees through his endorsement deals and blockbuster movies, one would expect him to feature in the list of World’s top ten highest paid actors in the world, but unfortunately Salman Khan beat him to it.
Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan (18) and Ranbir Kapoor (30) with estimated earning of $26 Million and $15 Million respectively, also made the Forbes list.
Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan entered the list in joint seventh place, with estimated earnings of $33.5 million. Yet another action star Akshay Kumar grabbed the 9th spot with earnings of $32.5 million.
Forbes is out with the list of Top 10 highest paid actors in the world which includes list of actors from Hollywood to Hong Kong and Bollywood.
Salman, Amitabh and Akshay kept Hollywood actors like Johnny Depp, Dwayne Johnson and Leonardo DiCaprio out of the top 10 cut.
Across the pond, Robert Downey Jr topped the list, earning an impressive $80 million from his Iron Man franchise.
The top ten is rounded up by Jackie Chan, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Adam Sandler, Tom Cruise and Mark Wahlberg. The 34 stars on Forbes’ list earned a combined $941 million before taxes and fees between June 2014 and June 2015. Bachchan bolsters his earnings as the longstanding host of “Kaun Banega Crorepati”, India’s version of “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”. He is one of Bollywood’s hardest-working and most versatile leading men, filming an average of four films a year and one of the highest contributors to India’s box office globally.
