Would Work With Russia To Fight Islamic State

“The size of current immigration flows are too large to perform adequate screening”. Extreme vetting. Our country has enough problems.

What Would They Be Asked?

Trump’s proposed vetting process, which he unveiled at a campaign event at Ohio’s Youngstown State University, would also mean the country would temporarily ban immigrants from “some of the most risky and volatile regions of the world” and those with “a history of exporting terrorism”.

The Republican presidential nominee proposed that ideological screening test is the way forward.

After his controversial call to place a “total ban” on Muslims entering the US, Donald Trump presented a new immigration policy proposal on Mondaythat will require Muslims to take a test before being admitted into the US. “I’m looking now at territory”, he said in a July interview with NBC News, suggesting the change was more about language.

This is not the first time Trump has cited a past practice as the grounds for reintroducing certain reforms.

Singling out Russia, Trump said that the USA should “find common ground” with leaders in Moscow in the fight against the Islamic State group.

Calling for unity as one American people, Trump condemned those who believe that Sharia law should supplant the Constitution or who displayed a “hostile” view towards inherently American principles. “Only those we expect to flourish in this country and to embrace a tolerant American society should be issued visas”.

“Incident after incident proves again and again, Hillary Clinton lacks the judgment, as said by Bernie Sanders, stability, and temperament, and the moral character, to lead our nation”, Trump said of the Democratic presidential nominee.

“The common thread linking the major Islamic terrorist attacks that have recently occurred on our soil – 9/11, the Fort Hood shooting, the Boston bombing, the San Bernardino attack, the Orlando attack – is that they have involved immigrants or the children of immigrants”. FBI Director James Comey subsequently criticized her use of a home-brew email server to handle sensitive work-related emails as “extremely careless”, but said his agency’s yearlong investigation found no evidence of criminal wrongdoing.

On the home front he also proposed setting up a “commission on radical Islam” which would include “reformist voices in the Muslim community” to root out jihadist networks and stop radicalization of young Americans.

Additional speeches with more details are expected in coming weeks, they said.

But that’s a different discussion from his Monday speech.

And second, his call for banning Muslims from entering the U.S., made at the end of past year.

The day after his initial announcement, he clarified that USA citizens who are Muslim would be allowed back in the country.

“Donald Trump has a way of talking to get people’s attention, and it’s drawn attention to a very important issue”, Pence said.

Three months later, he added another exception: his friends.

The first-term Republican, perhaps Trump’s highest-profile supporter in Georgia, spoke in stark terms Tuesday of the threat of terrorism at home and overseas.

So far, Trump has failed to outline where these areas are and whether or not allies of the United State (see Belgium and France) would be subject to this plan as well.
