Wragg Fire Flares Up, Evacuations Ordered
The Wragg fire near Lake Berryessa flared up about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, jumping the primary containment line and prompting new evacuations.

The fire, standing at 7,100 acres burned, remained at 80 percent contained Wednesday morning.
Residents in the Mix Canyon, Sky Ranch, Gates Canyon area are being ordered to evacuate as crews work to contain the blaze.
The evacuation center is in the Ulatis Community Center at 1000 Ulatis Drive in Vacaville, as indicated by Cal Fire.
“This part of the fire is within secondary containment lines and both ground and air resources are actively engaging this flare-up”, Cal Fire officials reported on the agency’s incident information website. The phone number is 707-469-4000.
The fire reportedly was sparked by a vehicle accident, but CalFire has said the cause is under investigation.

Officials have also ordered several road closures at Pleasants Valley and Mix Canyon roads, Sky Ranch Rd.at Pleasants Valley Rd., Cantelow Rd.at Pleasants Valley Rd., and Vaca Valley Parkway at Pleasants Valley Rd. Full containment had been expected Tuesday. Latest estimates put the blaze’s size at 6,991 acres.
