Wrestling – Mongolians strip off in protest after their man loses
Mongolia’s Mandakhnaran Ganzorig led by by seven points to six against Uzbekistan’s Ikhtiyor Navruzov in the 65kg freestyle wrestling with 18 seconds to go in the bronze medal match, before proceeding to taunt his opponent by dancing around. What happened next was more embarrassing as two coaches of the Mongolian wrestler stripped in front of the judges to protest against the decision.

In contrast, Navruzov, the victor, celebrated by wrestling his coach to the floor and then kneeling on the mat as if in prayer.
Navruzov won his challenge and the match on criteria.
Ganzorig was pretty bummed about this, and fell to his knees in disbelief.
Rio Olympic Games has been marked by remarkable events but none was more freakish than a protest which saw one angry coach strip down to his underpants.
This prompted the Mongolian coaches, who were on the mat already looking to celebrate with their new champion were so disgusted with the results that one took his shirt off, and the other stripped down to his underwear. Tsenrenbataar Tsostbayar followed him and removed his shirt and shoes, then one-upped Bayoraa by also taking off his trousers.
The crowd started cheering “Mongolia!” It ended with Forca Nacional officials escorting two shirtless Mongolian coaches from mat following a spontaneous strip show. Mandakhnaran Ganzorig of Mongolia was competing against Uzbekistan’s Ikhtiyor Navruzov for the bronze medal in the summer Olympics. “The referees are no good”.
Molinaro went on to compete against 2015 world champion Frank Chamizo, of Italy, who won the bronze medal 5-3. “They only supported the Uzbek”.
The appearance of any officiating impropriety could do harm to a sport that is just three years removed from being kicked off and later reinstated onto the Olympic program.

In a rematch of their August 12 pool play game in which they won by just three points, Team USA wasted little time pulling away in this one. “Of course, we need time to cure all our diseases”, Lalovic said.
