Trump has caused turmoil among Republicans over his call for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the USA after the mass shooting by a Muslim couple that killed 14 people in San Bernardino.

Mr Trump has not explained why talks were cancelled.
He nonetheless voiced his support for Israel, adding, “I have a tremendous amount of support from the people of Israel”. We’ve seen in the past that including the name of a politician – say, President Obama – can shift poll results, but it was probably hard to avoid here.
“We as Muslims have to stand up to those who use Islam to advance their own personal agenda”.
“If a person is a Muslim, goes overseas and comes back, they can come back”. Trump’s incendiary comments on ethnic minorities and differently abled people have provoked criticism, but his significant fan base often lauds his apparent disdain for political correctness.
U.S. presidential hopeful Donald Trump has claimed the United Kingdom has a “massive Muslim problem” as a petition to bar him from visiting Britain topped 400,000 signatures.
Trump’s call on Monday for “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States” has spurred worldwide controversy and condemnation from many within the Republican party.
“You know, he said, ‘We have a meeting, ‘ and he looks forward to the meeting and all of that”.
Trump is appearing at a presidential forum by the New England Police Benevolent Association, a region-wide police union.
In an initial sign he may have been rethinking the trip, Trump on Wednesday reversed a previous statement about his plan to meet with Netanyahu during his trip, telling CNN he never said he would meet the Israeli premier.
Robert Gordon University in Scotland responded to Trump’s proposal by revoking an honorary degree awarded to him in 2010.

Caroline Alexander, Lily Bickerstaff-Richard and Catherine Marcoullier, teenagers from York, Maine, said they want to stop Trump from being elected because they don’t want to live in a world filled with racism and sexism.
