WWE Night of Champions 2015: Match card preview and predictions
The monsters don’t know whom they are facing, but Reigns and Ambrose are bringing along a surprise guest.

Reading into the quote, it seems as though Sting is ready, willing and likely to lose to Seth Rollins at Sunday’s event. Let’s preview the card. He says NXT guys like Neville and Kevin Owens are changing the face and feel of WWE.
With a 56-year-old Sting in his first main event in years, it’s hard to tell how well he’ll perform.
Analysis: Cesaro and Big Show worked well together. “Whether I was right or wrong, I made a decision to stay with another group that came to the table with everything I was asking for”. If necessary, Rollins could work a compelling match completely around Sting, and seeing as he probably grew up watching the guy, he’d be thrilled to do it. But I don’t even think that will be necessary, as the Sting we saw on Raw this week, while clearly a middle-aged man, was actually moving a lot more and a lot faster than I would have expected. I see a New Day victory, but with a screwy finish to extend the feud.
Despite Lana being out of action nursing an injured wrist, this feud has trundled on. She’s been fighting quite a tough battle, and I’m proud to announce she won.
Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns def. Seth Rollins & Sheamus by Dean Ambrose pinning Sheamus following Dirty Deeds. The 15-time World Heavyweight Champion’s father wasn’t pleased with how it all went down. First there was the rumor that Baron Corbin was a possibility. Another title run for the Dudleyz would be fun, but I think WWE is more interested in pushing New Day. Other names that were mentioned were Samoa Joe, Finn Balor, Randy Orton (makes sense since he was attacked last week on Raw), and Jimmy Uso. A Wyatt Family promo ended the show.
WWE has the announcers, specifically JBL, ranting on commentary every time Sheamus is on TV that he’s “virtually guaranteed to be WWE Champion” just based on all the other wrestlers that cashed in over the years.
No trombone this week for the New Day but their signs to #SaveTheTables were very entertaining.
A similar wave of revulsion swept through the crowd Monday, after Nikki Bella retained the Divas title against upstart Charlotte, using the infamous heel switcheroo tactic – Nikki’s twin, Brie, took her place and got pinned, effectively disqualifying her sister – only for a Connor’s Cure video to follow a few minutes later, featuring the Bellas as congenial altruists. Now these two square off again this Sunday. This year, I figured it was time.
The pay per view live from the Toyota Center in Houston, TX. on Sunday night (September 20) will be headlined by Seth Rollins, who must defend his United States and World Heavyweight Championships in separate singles matches against John Cena and Sting, respectively. The answer is yes! A good opening segment to the show, which teases another possible problem for Rollins on Sunday night…Or maybe even tonight. Sure, Cena is becoming stereotyped in the role he has with the WWE, but it’s clearly striking a chord with young fans and he’s an icon that we can all take a page from every now and then. Since the WWE World Heavyweight Champion tapped out to one of his opponents on Sunday night this past Monday on Raw, due to a weird-looking Scorpion Death Lock by Sting, one would assume the last television show before the event would make the champion look good. Ziggler has Rusev on his mind in what I expect will be the final match in the Rusev and Ziggler story. The close of Night of Champions is an ideal time for him to cash in his Money in the Bank contract and carry around a championship rather than a briefcase from now on.
Despite always competing in the prestigious WWE Championship bouts, his win/loss record isn’t exactly superb. My point, Cesaro was left out of this card.
Two title defences in one night for Seth Rollins includes this rematch from SummerSlam. I’m interested to see if beats Sting with clean and I wonder if the planting of the seeds are going to happen with a Rollins vs. Triple feud.

However, Reigns and Ambrose claim they do have a partner, but have thus far neglected to identify the gentleman.
