WWE SummerSlam 2016 rumors: Brock Lesnar to take on Randy Orton?
Lesnar started his fighting career as an amateur wrestler, winning the NCAA Heavyweight Wrestling Championship as a senior at the University of Minnesota.

While Lesnar admitted his UFC future lies in WWE chairman Vince McMahon’s hands – he signed a long-term contract with the wrestling outfit a year ago – it’s clear he’s a huge draw at UFC 200.
“I’ve been in the business long enough – the entertainment industry, the fight game – the show still goes on”, Lesnar said at an appearance at T-Mobile Arena, where UFC 200 will take place.
(Wikimedia Commons/Miguel Discart)Randy Orton is expected to be Brock Lesnar’s opponent at “SummerSlam”. Hunt gets the edge on the feet, Lesnar on the mat. In the first round, Overeem landed a sick knee to Lesnar’s stomach, slowing down the big man. Overeem saw how Lesnar responded to that, and promptly threw a kick right near the same spot, this time dropping Lesnar. And Hunt replied with a big laugh: “KFC!” “We’re not going to hold anything back”, Lesnar said. Lesnar slipped but got up. After that? Lesnar wouldn’t take anything off the table. And once he got him there he was relentless, smothering Hunt and pinning him to the apron as he uncorked his brand of ground-and-pound.
Lesnar isn’t foolish enough to believe that he’s just going to maul Hunt without any resistance from the veteran heavyweight, but he’s also confident now that he’s healthy, he can face and defeat anybody in the world again. Multiple punches later (with Lesnar not reacting) the referee called it, sending his record down to 5-3.
With no time to test Jones’ B Sample before the show, which could yet exonerate him of using performance enhancing drugs, the UFC has come to Lesnar and Hunt to save their bacon.
“I really haven’t given it much thought, I really haven’t”, Lesnar said. Hunt has stout takedown defense, while Lesnar’s striking defense has always been shaky.
“It took a number a years for me to gain my confidence and gain my athleticism back”. Perhaps most importantly, Hunt can take a savage beating. Lesnar went for another takedown but whiffed. Hunt remains one of the best kickboxers in the heavyweight division, having knocked out Roy Nelson, outstruck Silva and fought tooth-and-nail with Junior dos Santos.

In the UFC 200 press conference, Lesnar was asked by reporters if he has plans to fight again or the match with Hunt will be his last.
