That’s a lot of wrestling packed into one night, and if you include the events of Friday and Saturday, WWE has the risk of burn out my the rowdy NY fans.

It remains to be seen if that is the route WWE Creative takes, but it is at least an explanation for the rapid-fire title change.
Sasha Banks and Charlotte continued the Women’s Revolution Sunday night in grand fashion, delivering a tenacious and ferocious match that almost ended before it could even begin, courtesy of a scary botch that left fans wondering about the health of The Boss. After some taxing damage inflicted on both men, it was time for the match to draw to a close.
That’s not to say that all was lost at SummerSlam, because that couldn’t be further from the truth. Nonetheless, this is the latest champion that will be handed out during SummerSlam in what should be an exciting match to watch. While betting against Cena is usually a bad thing at a pay per view, and especially at a culmination of a long feud, A.J. Styles should win, and move on to face the WWE Champion afterwards.
But rather than just giving an all-encompassing statement such as that, let’s break down the whole show and grade it all out to see what worked and what didn’t.
Brock Lesnar’s match with Randy Orton could potentially close out WWE SummerSlam 2016.
– In the video below, WWE Champion Dean Ambrose talks to Charly Caruso after his win over Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam. But it was Balor, the former NXT champion recently recalled to the WWE roster, who left victorious.
The featured match of the night has Brock Lesnar taking on Randy Orton in a non-title bout.
For years WWE has crawled its way toward big events, only to stop in the middle of the trek because of a cramp or two in booking and promotion.
Sami Zayn & Neville vs. I sound like a broken record saying that since I probably said the same thing a year ago, but it’s the truth. My money would be on Rusev in a screwy fashion, as this is a short stop US Championship run before Reigns is back in the title picture with Balor and Rollins. The WWE put out a list past year chronicling the fastest rise to top championship in company history.
Once it was apparent that the champion was ok, attention turned to the finish, which saw Charlotte unseat her rival to become a two-time WWE women’s champion.
Tag Team Championship: The New Day (c) vs.
Sasha Banks (c) vs. Charlotte for the Women’s Championship: In what should be a good match, I think it was a mistake putting the belt on Banks so soon.
Nikki Bella, Natalya and Alexa Bliss defeated Becky Lynch, Naomi and Carmella in a six-woman tag team match. The New Day retains. Big tags and plenty of teamwork as Enzo and Big Cass duked it out with Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens in and out of the ring.
The Usos, Mojo Rawley, Zack Ryder and American Alpha vs. Fandango, Tyler Breeze, The Ascension and The Vaudevillains on the kickoff show. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson won via disqualification.

The crowd was 100% into this match, with a lot of them backing Styles. A two-hour kickoff show begins at 4 p.m. We recently noted how Daniel Bryan might look to pilfer Zayn and put him on SmackDown Live if RAW has nothing for him.
