WWE SummerSlam party at Miller’s Davie Ale House in South Florida

With a four-hour time window, it is critical to have depth and variety because the risk of audience burnout is particularly high. After recently leaving “The Daily Show“, Jon Stewart has been named the host of SummerSlam.

Originally, Sting was reportedly set to team with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to face the Wyatt Family. Dolph Ziggler and Rusev should be another solid tussle, although the expected catfight between Lana and Summer Rae could overshadow it in the eyes of a certain segment of the fan base.

Team BAD in an Elimination Match: According to the rules of the match, once an individual is defeated, their entire team is eliminated. It will be interesting to see how the crowd in Brooklyn reacts tonight. Charlotte seems to be getting a pretty good push these days and may be headed to an eventual WrestleMania moment with current champ Nikki Bella down the road.

Intercontinental Champion Ryback vs. Big Show vs. The Miz in a Triple Threat Match: WWE has been driving home the point that The Miz can walk out as champion if Ryback and Big Show take each other out, but I don’t see that happening. Actor Stephen Amell will get in the ring, likely in his “Arrow” costume, to tag with Neville.

The Prime Time Players will defend their WWE Tag Team Championship against New Day, Los Matadores and Lucha Dragons at WWE SummerSlam. Sore loser Rollins will attack Cena after the match, and then Sheamus will come down, cash in his Money in the Bank contract, hit a Brogue Kick (or two) and leave SummerSlam as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. There might also be something big coming Monday on Raw if Internet sources are accurate.

The storyline is that Undertaker is exhausted of Lesnar’s gloating about the victory, and now is thirsting for revenge.
