Wyoming Democrats see bump in ranks ahead of Saturday caucus
Bernie Sanders has won the Democratic presidential caucuses in Wyoming, according to the Associated Press, giving him another state in his climb to catch the party’s front-runner Hillary Clinton.

Bernie Sanders is projected to win the Wyoming Democratic caucuses.
Sanders is elected by overwhelming majorities in the conservative, rural state of Vermont. But judging by the amount of delegates each candidate has claimed, Clinton remains the clear leader, with 1,286, compared to Sanders’ 1,037 delegates.
“It is interesting… that the first Jew in American history to win a delegate, much less a primary, is taking this position with Israel”, Tapper told Sanders. “But we also must know that the billionaire class is more scared than ever”, the Sanders campaign said in a statement.
The next primary match-up will be in NY where Clinton is now enjoying a considerable lead. And since the Democratic Party allocates all delegates proportionally, Sanders will still split delegates with Clinton. But his campaign is still behind Clinton’s in delegate count.
Wyoming s 14 Democratic delegates – fewer than any other state – are awarded proportionally based on support from individuals participating in the nominating contest. Even though she’s not really from there, she has won two Senate races and the 2008 Presidential Primary in the Empire State.
Sanders tried to stick more to the issues after a fractious week in which he questioned Clinton’s qualifications to be president.
When including superdelegates, or party officials who can back any candidate, Clinton has 1,756, or 74 percent of the number needed to clinch the nomination. Cruz is trying to block Trump from receiving enough delegates to win the nomination outright, which would lead to a contested convention in July.
A victory in the Cowboy State would mark Sanders’ eighth in the past nine contests before a critical showdown April 19 in NY. Not to mention that plenty of Clinton supporters may be highly sensitive to suggestions that the potential first female president, a senator and secretary of state, is somehow not “qualified” for the office.
“The Road to Pennsylvania” – The next big round of primaries is on April 26th. “That’s not a crime, just wanted to make that point”, he added.
