So unfortunately if you didn’t manage to grab one while they were briefly on sale, then you’ve missed out.
The white Xbox One S 2TB model launched last week and it’s already sold out.
Accept you can’t get it and grab yourself the smaller 1 TB or 500 GB models (when Microsoft eventually release them).
Microsoft has confirmed it won’t be making any more of the standard 2TB model of the Xbox One S, as eBay prices skyrocket. There is however the Gears of War Red 2TB model still available to preorder and the lesser 500gb models are still in stock everywhere.
If you want to pick up an Xbox One S 2TB, you’ll have to wait until October and pick up the Gears Of War 4 Limited Edition version of the console. Microsoft’s senior director of product marketing and planning Albert Penello recently revealed several details about the Xbox One S SoC and the new hardware that enables support for HDR and 4K video play back, and the folks over at iFixit also tore down the console and gave it a 8 out of 10 rating in repairability.
