The biggest update yet to the Xbox One interface is coming in November but Microsoft has just announced that members of the Xbox One Preview Program will be getting it over the next couple of weeks.

Microsoft’s Xbox One has gained a significant amount of momentum over the past few years and it is in the midst of a major run of crucial first party game releases. It would be an overhaul of Xbox One as it tries to stay competitive in the market.

Now, Microsoft’s corporate vice president, Kudo Tsunoda, is trumpeting the company’s exclusivity might as well by saying that their console is set to topple “the competition” with its slew of Xbox One-only titles. However previous announcements have shown that you can invite friends, share videos and send messages using voice commands via a Kinect (if you have one), all using largely naturalistic language.

As before you get from any activity to the home screen with just a tap of the Xbox button on the controller.

The update will also showcase the improved Store featuring these areas: Movies and TV, Apps, Music, and Games. All of this success certainly bodes well for a new generation of consoles, and should there be another one, we could witness the emergence of a “whole new game”.

Perhaps, another big change is that it will be backwards compatible.

We are only in September, but Microsoft has not wasted time in giving Xbox One owners a full heads-up on some of the features available in the Xbox One update for November 2015.

Rare Replay had nearly the entire month though, and considering it’s a retro compilation featuring a bunch of Spectrum games most Americans have probably never heard of it did very well. While a lot of studios are now choosing to forego the creation of projects only for certain systems like the PlayStation 4, Wii U, and Xbox One, there are many developers who still practice the concept. Ybarra affirms that “many functions simply won’t work” during the first alpha test, and that testing it in waves would give the development team the feedback they need to focus on different sections of the update at a time.
