Xbox One Will Not Be Exclusive to Amazon India From Next Month
Hitting the brick and mortar stores, Xbox One devices will be sold via Microsoft’s own stores, starting next month. Commenting on the same, Anshu Mor, Director, Interactive Entertainment Business, Microsoft India said, “Moving a step forward to extend the world’s most-loved gaming portfolio to passionate Indian gaming enthusiasts, we are happy to bring the Xbox One consoles, games and accessories to our Priority Resellers”.
At the moment, the Xbox One is lagging behind the PlayStation 4 in terms of worldwide sales, but the situation might change during the very important coming fall shopping season, when the console receives Forza Motorsport 6, Halo 5: Guardians, and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Microsoft Xbox One will now be going “offline” that is, it no longer will be available exclusively online via Amazon. This was a huge win for Xbox and Xbox One owners.
This feature won’t be rolled out to all Xbox One users until November with that major Xbox One update. He even claimed that the Xbox One is already “doing things that can’t be done on any other console”.
