Rumors swirled recently that NBC was eyeing a reboot of the beloved fantasy series.
Lucy Lawless might not be sure if that “Xena” reboot is happening, but she just gave fans a warrior reunion instead.
These reports, however, may have been somewhat premature, as Lucy herself insisted in a tweet posted on the same day. Lawless did not confirm the gossip on Twitter, saying it was “still in the wishful thinking stage”.
‘So what? Technicality!’ Lucy joked.

While it doesn’t sound like we’ll see her on the small screen with Renee anytime soon, she does reunite with another “Xena” costar in the upcoming “Ash vs Evil Dead” series for Stars.
