Xhaka’s time will come at Arsenal, says Wenger
Alexis Sanchez scored two goals and missed out on a hat trick when his penalty was saved as Arsenal won at 10-man Hull 4-1 in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Theo Walcott’s deftly chipped finish 10 minutes into the second half as the forward sprinted onto a perfectly weighted backheel from Alex Iwobi ensured there was to be no stirring comeback from the hosts.
“We’ve only played five games”, added Wenger, who saw Alexis Sanchez score in each half in addition to missing a penalty shortly before the interval, after Hull defender Jake Livermore sent off for handball. “We have to play catch-up a little bit but hopefully we can do that – past year City also won their first five games”.
Despite manager Mike Phelan travails associated with a possible change of club ownership – his experience has seen them make a respectable start.
Iwobi’s goal-bound shot in the 17th minute was deflected in by Sanchez who claimed the goal to the dismay of the 20-year-old Nigerian global in Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Hull City.
The Gunners ran out 4-1 winners at the KC Stadium with Sanchez scoring twice despite his penalty miss.
“Fitness-wise he has been behind Koscielny and Ozil”, said Wenger, according to the official club website.
Wenger said that Sanchez should not have been taking the penalty.
‘When we lost our first game it was a mental shock for us and for our supporters.
The latter was particularly impressive, with his exquisite flick putting Walcott through to put the Gunners two goals ahead, and he was robbed of the opener by Sanchez’s late touch.
Arsenal went back on the attack and the ever-lively Walcott crossed for Francis Coquelin, whose shot was blocked by the hand of Livermore in the box for a straight red card.

“At the end of the day, we’ve got to be one”. The positivity comes from us, from our attitude. “We have to think we can get the supporters behind us when our performances are convincing and not the other way around”. “When it came back to 2-1 you know what can happen, it would have been a shame not to win”. And in this case, the heavyweight also has a speed advantage, which will make things even more hard for Hull.
