The launch event will also be live streamed at 12 noon. Xiaomi Redmi 3s runs MIUI 7 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and was launched in Gold, Grey and Silver colour options.
On Wednesday, July 27, Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Pro, its latest iteration on the entry-level portfolio. The company had introduced the Mi 5 flagship back in February, and that phone was followed by the Mi Max phablet, Redmi Pro smartphone and a number of other devices including the Redmi 3s mid-ranger which was introduced back in June. The Redmi 3S was launched as a follow-up device, again in China, where it is available in two variants: 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage.
The Redmi Pro sports a massive 5.5-inch 1080p OLED display with full NTSC gamut.
Tata Group – one of the biggest offline retailers in India – entered the competitive online retail market two months ago, naming its website CliQ. The storage can be expandable via MicroSD card up to 128GB. Next in line is the processing unit in Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 chipset. In fact, there’s even a possibility that Xiaomi may not launch the Redmi 3 in India, at all because launching the Redmi 3 would collide with the Redmi Note 3 and the company wouldn’t want that.
But there are high chances that the Indian version of the Redmi 3S may be launched with somewhat different specs. From our reliable source, we have got the list of expected Xiaomi devices (Mi and Redmi series) who are likely to get Android 7.0 Nougat update. The role of the 13-megapixel Sony camera is to take the actual picture, and the additional 5-megapixel Samsung camera determines the depth of field so that the background objects can be blurred without any efforts from the user in editing the pic.

The Redmi 3S comes with all the modern day connectivity facilities, such as 4G, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Glonass, and Micro-USB.
