Xiaomi Mi 5 Launch Scheduled for February 24; Check out for Details!
The Xiaomi Mi 5 will be launched sometime after the Chinese Spring festival, which falls on February 8.

For the Xiaomi Mi 5 with the metallic design, one variant will have 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and the price of this one is tipped as CNY 2,199 (around $335) according to the leak.
In a recent post from Weibo, Li-Wanqiang, the Co-founder of Xiaomi announced an event to be held on the 24th of February, wherein the launch of the much-anticipated flagship smartphone Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected.
Xiaomi is eventually expected to expand into the US, but the Mi5 will likely only be available in China and a few other countries where the company now operates.

On the inside, the handset will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, 4GB of RAM and 16GB/64GB of onboard storage expandable via a MicroSD card slot.
As far as the smartphone’s specifications go, the Mi5 was spotted in the Geekbench database once again – this time around rocking a new Snapdragon 820 version.
The leaked photos of the Xiaomi Mi5 revealed that the device will have thin bezels.
Spec-wise, Times News UK said that the handset will feature a 5.2-inch display and QHD screen resolution.
On the software front, Android 5.1 Lollipop will run the handset with MIUI 7 on top of it. Xiaomi is believed to release the Mi 5 in Black, Gold and White colors. It was reported that Xiaomi’s smartphone business is not doing too well as it lost a large part of market share a year ago.

The Mi 5 will have an all metal body with a fingerprint scanner, a 16 megapixel rear camera and a 13 megapixel front camera. It is said to be powered by a 3600mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 tech.
