Xiaomi Mi 5 To Be Revealed On Feb
The Mi 5 was expected to launch previous year, but that didn’t happen because the Snapdragon 820 wasn’t available at the time. The Mi 5 will come in two design variants – one in metal and another with a 2.5D curved glass on the back and front. However, Xiaomi will tease a few details about the upcoming smartphone on January 26 and will announce news about logistics for the february 24 Spring Conference.

With Xiaomi Mi 5 coming soon to the market in the first quarter of 2016, the mobile device is expected to be released in four variants.
The company’s India Head Manu Kumar Jain also tweeted and confirmed that the Mi 5 will be launched on the aforementioned date, reports GSM Arena.
Save the dates. Xiaomi has set a pair of dates on which it will offer details on its Spring Conference and the flagship phone it will reveal at that event. The Xiaomi Mi 5 is the next flagship phone and successor to the Xiaomi Mi 4. However, these two variants will differ in the form of built-in storage space i.e. 32 GB and 64 GB. What has been widely anticipated is that the handset will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with a Quad-core 2.2 GHz CPU. So that’s a pretty decent display, and it’s also a notable enhancement on the Mi 4’s 1,080 x 1,920 resolution. In addition, the device will have a fingerprint sensor, which is believed as the world’s smallest and fastest, on the home button.
Based on all the leaks and rumored specs of the Mi 5, it might be worth the wait as it is purportedly going to sport a 5.2-inch QHD full screen with a 16MP main camera and an 8 or 13MP front snapper.

We also believe that the phone will run Android Marshmallow out-the-box, with Xiaomi’s MiUI 7.1 skin overlaid.
