Xiaomi Mi Note 2, Mi 5s to come with pressure sensitive display

Unconfirmed reports indicated that specs and features of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will match or surpass its rivals but the price starts at $376. Having said that, we have full faith in our sources & tipsters, and we firmly believe that these all specs will be included on Xiaomi Mi Note 2 at the time of release. The company might launch a new variant of the Mi 5 smartphone as well. Part of the deal too is a pressure-sensitive display that is similar to 3D Touch on Apple’s iPhone 6S.

Mi Note 2 on Weibo-the Chinese social-media platform will be likely launched in 3 variants-a budget offering, high-end model, and top-end version.

The new Force Touch technology allows the device to distinguish between a light and a strong touch. The smartphone packed a punch as it was powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM.

Just like Mi5, Mi Note 2 could sport a 3D ceramic chassis, a metal frame, a front and rear glass panel, and we could see the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor placed into the home button.

Both devices, the Mi 5s and the Mi Note 2, are expected to be released soon in July, according to the latest reports.

While the standard variant is expected to feature a single rear camera setup, Hi-Fi chip and quick charging, the higher end model will pack a dual camera setup.

The company will definitely be releasing a high priced phone this year and even though it’s going to be costly, we should expect that it will feature much better quality than the price it will be sold for, as that is one of the company’s core values.

The rumour is that the next Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will come in three variants, priced at RMB2499 for 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage, RMB2999 for a 6GB/64GB model and RMB3499 for a 6GB/128GB version.
