Xiaomi Redmi 3 Spotted online: A new smartphone from Xiaomi which is believed to be the Redmi 3, has been spotted online on a benchmarking website Geekbench.
Xiaomi has finally chose to launch a smartphone after a long hiatus with Redmi Note 2 Prime in India. A new leak of the device has popped up yet again, this time its a more blurry image.
Meanwhile, it is also being said that Xiaomi Mi 5 will have Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed, making it the first Xiaomi offering to don the OS.
Going by the benchmark results, the “Kenzo” scored 1561 in single-core tests and 4541 in multi-core tests. It also revealed a number of purported specs that customers should expect from the device. A Micro SIM Slot will be incorporated in the Redmi Note 3 that will be similar to the Mini SIM slot in Note 2. However, we do not have much information about the Xiaomi Kenzo as of now. But, we also saw the device featuring a hexa-core architecture clocked at 1.40GHz, which seems to be contrary.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime was originally announced as an upgrade version over the Redmi Note in China back in August this year. However, the specific release date and pricing is yet not released.
The bottom side of the handset features a pair of speaker grilles and in between them a USB Type-C port can be seen.
However, as a temporary measure, the company has come up with Qualcomm-based models for India, including the Mi4i that was introduced in April and was powered by the Snapdragon 615 processor.

If all goes according to plan, there is a strong possibility that the Xiaomi Mi 5 may finally come out next month (January 2016) and probably be made available in the market in February.
