As far as the info that TENAA ousted is concerned it reveals everything as to the specifications of the Smartphone. Last but not least, Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is said to run the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system with MIUI 6 on top, but we hope the Chinese company will change it for Android 5.0 Lollipop and MIUI 7. The company has been tight lipped about whether there will be any smartphones on offer during the event, but leaks have already revealed the existence of the Redmi Note 2, so we expect it to be shown off along with the new MIUI. The rear-facing camera is a 13 MP unit, with a 5MP snapper in the front, ready to shoot selfies. After today’s event, Xiaomi will be hosting the global launch of MIUI 7 on 19 August in India. The Redmi Note 2 will be equipped with a battery of 3,100 mAh capacity. There are some rumors that Xiaomi would launch its Michigan 5 at the China event. Xiaomi’s next flagship Michigan 5 smartphone is also likely to be showcased at the event.
