Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro on the way
And that is exactly what the TENAA certification reveals. Since the Note 2 has three versions at 100 Yuan intervals, it wouldn’t be insane to assume the Pro model will be 100 Yuan more than the Prime version, putting it at 1,099 Yuan ($172). On the backside of the device, under the rear camera, there is the LED flash and a fingerprint scanner.

A couple of weeks after the first image of the metal phablet surfaced online, Xiaomi’s forthcoming Redmi Note 2 Pro is now all but confirmed.
Previous information about the Redmi Note 2 Pro suggested that Xiaomi’s mid-range smartphone would feature a metal body and fingerprint scanner, but thanks to the new pictures appearing at TENAA, we know for sure that these features will be part of the phone.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 packed a decent punch. and the Note 2 Pro will do, too, as the TENAA listing revealed that it has the exact same specs as the original device. The MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 SoC is under the hood, carrying an octa-core 2.0GHz CPU. Powering the Redmi Note 2 Pro is a 3060mAh battery. Due to the similarity in specs between the two Redmi models, the extended price of the Redmi Note 2 Pro comes from the fingerprint sensor and the metallic build.
Camera-wise, the Chinese smartphone features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie front snapper. While the overall design is similar to the Redmi Note series, there are quite a few changes as well.
