According to some rumours, the Redmi Note 3’s price is concerned, Xiaomi is expected to keep the MRP between Rs 12,000 and Rs 13,999.
The Redmi Note 3 will be available in two RAM and storage versions – 2GB and 16GB RAM of inbuilt storage, and 3GB and 32GB of inbuilt storage. It will be available in India from Amazon soon. While Redmi Note 3 and Le 1s feature a microUSB port, the Le 1s gets the latest USB Type-C connectivity port. It has been a long time coming, particularly when the likes of Meizu, Lenovo, Coolpad and Huawei have been offering fingerprint sensors on their mid-range Android smartphones for quite some time now.
It remains to be seen whether Xiaomi puts Redmi Note 3 on a flash sale or an open sale. The 5.5-inch FHD display boasts of a reading mode which will reduce the blue light and make a switch to the ambient level for increased reading comforts. With the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 on the Note 3, the K4 Note is powered by the lower-specced Mediatek MT6753. The phone sports a full-metal body and a fingerprint sensor and has a stark resemblance with LeEco’s 1s. In 2015, while launching MIUI 7, Barra copied SRK. It is claimed to unlock the device in just 0.3 seconds.
On the back of the phone there’s a 16-megapixel camera which has a f/2.0 aperture, deep trench isolation and an industry first 4-axis optical stabiliser. The rear camera has dual ISPs for more powerful post-processing of photos.
Xiaomi seems to be back on track and is expanding its line-up aggressively, in January Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Note 3 in China and now they have launched the same in India. It also has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The front camera is a 5MP shooter on both the devices, but the Redmi Note 3’s front camera has the ability to capture Full HD 1080p videos.

Though this may not result in any immediate benefit on Indian 4G networks, it is possible that Indian carriers will start supporting aggregated LTE later this year. The handset measures 150mm x 76mm x 8.65mm and weighs 164g, and it runs the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based MIUI 7.
