Xiaomi has also revealed that this Redmi Note 3 will be available in India. The phone has a 2GB DDR3 RAM with an internal memory of 16GB that can be expanded up to 128 GB through a microSD card. The phone attributes 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Display and MIUI 7 based on Android OS is installed in the device. However, with the influx of phones like Lenovo Vibe K4 Note, Xiaomi had no option but to introduce the Redmi Note 3 variant, sooner rather than later.

Only a couple of days since it was announced, we’re seeing a series of hands-on photos of the Xiaomi Redmi 3. It pales in comparison with the Redmi 3 at 4,100 mAh, but the company’s legacy in that department could also mean that it can deliver longer screen times.

The phablet comes with a fingerprint sensor in just Rs 11,600. It is launched in China at 999Yuan ($151). It is also expected to launch in India next month. The phone will be available in three colour variants – Gold, Grey, and Silver.

The Snapdragon 650 is clocked at 1.8GHz and features 2x ARM Cortex A72 cores and 4x ARM Cortex A53 cores, and supports the 4G+ networks in China, enabling much faster download speeds.
