Yahoo is also encouraging all users to review their online accounts for suspicious activity. Yahoo also says that no bank or credit card information was compromised, but credentials including dates of birth, email addresses, phone numbers, and passwords were taken.

This wouldn’t be the first time that governments were implicated in high-profile hacking attacks.
It was bombshell news for the millions of users of the popular site. A massive hack on Yahoo has hit millions of accounts.
Yahoo is facing lawsuits from people who fear their accounts have been hacked and claim the company was “grossly negligent”, putting their financial and personal data at risk.
