You can then search through Yahoo and Gmail messages seamlessly in a single app.

When we launched the redesigned Yahoo Mail app in October, users called it “slick”, “speedy” and “elegant”. The email client by the internet giant was previously supporting multiple accounts from Microsoft’s Outlook.com and Hotmail as well as AOL Mail. But to the everyone surprise, Now, Gmail – arguably its biggest rival – has joined the party too. You can now search across your entire history of emails, from day one, for all connected mailboxes!

For Gmail users to connect their accounts, they would simply have to enter the Account Settings menu of the Yahoo Mail app. The feature is now globally available.

The company is also claiming that you will be able to view all your Gmail emails, as opposed to certain apps or platforms which usually displays your more recent emails.

Yahoo users can sign in to their Gmail accounts through Yahoo account key, without the need to put in a separate password. Account Key makes signing in to your Yahoo account as easy as tapping a button. Also, archived messages can be found in the “All Mail” folder, just as they would in actual Gmail.
