Yakuza Kiwami Trailer Shows Us More Of Nishiki And The Story

Yakuza 6 will also be a PlayStation 4 exclusive, and the first trailer for the long awaited Sega game has finally been outed.

The upcoming PS4 title was announced earlier this year, and this teaser shows off a little of how the game is looking, from the detailed convenience stores to the street brawling.

Fans of the “Yakuza” series will recognize some of the staples seen here, like the combat.

Mmm, couldn’t be more unhealthy if I tried. Yakuza 6 launches for the PlayStation 4 in Japan in Q3/Q4 2016, and we might not get it in North America until later.

The brief trailer shows everyone’s favourite Yakuza, Kazuma Kiryu, in an all new outfit amongst the city lights of Kamurocho.

We can cover Yakuza 6 in earnest, now that we know the game is coming to the West at some point.

The sixth installment of the game also features the return of longtime protagonist Kiryu, who has been the series’ lead since the very first game.

The Yakuza series now has five main storyline games along with Yakuza 0 which was a prequel to the first title. Western fans will have to wait quite a bit, since it took three years for “Yakuza 5” to come to a country outside of Japan.
