Now he’s suing the university.

There’s a first time for everything.

The team went 7-1 in his absence, finishing the year 22-6 and winning the Ivy League championship with a 13-1 league record.

That joy was tempered, however, by the controversy surrounding Montague – and his teammates’ support of their former captain.

Montague was wearing a red baseball cap and a jacket as he sat a few rows from the floor opposite the Yale bench, surrounded by friends.

“Actually, it’s a very, very common response” for reasons including trauma, stigma and denial, said Helen Price, the director of Unite Against Sexual Assault Yale, and a Yale sophomore. On the night of February 26, for a home game against Harvard, the team warmed up in specially designed T-shirts labeled “Gucci”, Montague’s nickname, and a word some fans chanted from the students’ section, according to the Yale Daily News.

Yale will play No. 4 seed Duke on Saturday.

Their actions were met with swift and vehement blowback. That drew backlash from campus groups, prompting the team to apologize. They have deflected questions on their former captain throughout the build-up to Thursday’s game against Baylor at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center.

So is Jack Montague the latest example of athletic entitlement run amok?

It’s March Madness, the greatest time of the year.

A Montague supporter is suggesting that Yale is looking for someone who is high profile to show that they will come down hard on those accused of sex crimes on campus, but the same supporter said that the accuser wanted to, and still wants to recant, and reached out to Montague post alleged assault. The encounter in question is the last of those four, Stern said, and took place in October 2014. Montague and the woman involved had already had consensual sex on multiple occasions, he claims. A university panel investigated and ruled against Montague for “sexual misconduct”. On Feb. 10, the committee concluded that Montague warranted expulsion, a verdict upheld by both the Dean of Yale College, Jonathan Holloway, and, after Montague’s appeal, by the Provost, Benjamin Polak. No criminal charges were ever filed.

“We strongly believe that the decision to expel Jack Montague was wrong, unfairly determined, arbitrary, and excessive by any rational measure”.

This guy (Rico Gathers) is going to be tough for Yale to handle inside.

She joined him in bed, voluntarily removed all of her clothes, and they had sexual intercourse. The report said that 18.1 percent of undergraduates had experienced at least one incident that included “force or incapacitation” as well.

Stern said Montague participated in the hearing process.

ESPN later confirmed that Montague was in attendance, but he declined to speak to reporters.

“Yale has been oblivious to the catastrophic and irreparable damage resulting from these allegations and determinations”, Stern said.

Stern said he plans to file a federal lawsuit in CT within a month.

Baylor’s last second heave was not close and the Bulldogs began celebrating the victory as the clock struck zero. It seems that no one knows what exactly happened, but since their team is in the tournament, and they are playing not far down the road in Rhode Island, Yalies want the focus to be on basketball and not on Montague.
