Yaya Toure set to leave this summer

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has lavished praise on Pep Guardiola, who will succeed Manuel Pellegrini as Manchester City’s next manager, describing him as “one of the best managers” in the world.

The Sky Blues have supposedly already made contact with Messi’s advisers over a stunning switch and believe the signs are there that this deal could be completed.

In such relatively “new” football markets, Guardiola will carry far more impact than his predecessor Manuel Pellegrini and the level of high-class superstar City could now attract will lift the club even higher in terms of their global presence.

City had been heavily linked with hiring Guardiola.

Pellegrini revealed he would not be taking up the year’s extension to his contract agreed last summer and that he had been kept fully informed of everything happening at the club.

“Manchester City are working in the correct way, they have got some players, a new coach”.

The next phase came in 2014 with the opening of the club’s lavish US$300 million training and player-development centre – the City Football Academy.
