Yep, Trump just made another ‘joke’ about assassinating Hillary Clinton

“Clinton’s campaign relies on the exhausted tactic of smearing opponents who question her policies as racists”, Trump said at an election rally in Miami, Florida.

On a day dominated by news that Mr. Trump had finally dropped his long adherence to the false notion that President Barack Obama was not born in the United States – and therefore is not a legitimate president – Mrs. Obama said her husband had faced a long list of doubts since his election in 2008 as the first black president.

In justifying his remarks, Trump falsely claimed that the Democratic presidential candidate wants to “destroy your Second Amendment”, referring to the right to bear arms.

“I’ll answer that question at the right time”, Trump said. “It’s like he thinks that it’s a game, you’re playing a TV show”, he said.

“Take their guns away”, he continued. She doesn’t want guns. Let’s see what happens to her. Take their guns away, okay? “It’ll be very unsafe”.

Mr Trump made a similar comment in May when he addressed a National Rifle Association conference.

Presidential nominees are protected at all times by heavily armed teams of Secret Service agents, some uniformed and some undercover. She has said she wants to protect gun rights, but does support expanded background checks and allowing the families of gun violence victims to sue gun manufacturers.

“If she gets to pick her judges: Nothing you can do, folks”, Trump said in August, adding: “Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is”.

Trump’s comment came as he described the violence in inner-city neighborhoods as “far more unsafe than Afghanistan”.

After having used it to rise to political notoriety over the past five years, Donald Trump finally reversed his stance Friday and stated what has always been accepted as fact: that President Obama was born in the United States of America. Mook said then, “A person seeking to be the president of the United States should not suggest violence in any way”.

“They are more than willing to swallow the bait because they know the ratings are going to go up when Trump goes on the air – even when their credibility goes down when they realize he has conned them”, he said. In remarks last month, Trump falsely said Clinton wanted to “abolish” the second amendment.

Mr. Trump claimed Hillary Clinton got the birther ball rolling.

“He is unfit to be President and it is time Republican leaders stand up to denounce this disturbing behaviour in their nominee”.

With the race now in a statistical tie, Clinton is reiterating how critical this final stretch of the campaign will be.

Mr Trump also pledged to undo President Obama’s executive actions opening up relations with Cuba, “unless the Castro regime meets our demands”.

Trump also said the USA has a broader obligation to stand with oppressed people – a comment that seems at odds with his “America first” mantra.
