Nintendo of America announced earlier today that “Yo-kai Watch 2” will become available for the Nintendo 3DS on September 30, 2016.

Recieving a lot of love in Japan, the sequel to the first game, developed by LEVEL-5 will offer the same rewarding gameplay and zany adventures. Each new game in the quirky RPG series will introduce rare Yo-kai found only in their respective version. “We’re excited to continue bringing fun Yo-kai experiences stateside this year”.
Like in Japan, Yo-kai Watch 2 will launch as two different versions, similar to Pokemon.
And other Yo-kai Watch related announcements. It includes “Yo-kai Motion Technology” that lets fans insert a “Yo-Motion Yo-kai Medal” into the watch and see a projected animation of that character. New merchandise from Hasbro will also release in September to coincide with the game’s release.
That season will premiere on Disney XD this summer, Nintendo said. But just because he has a new watch, that doesn’t mean Nate’s life will get any easier. Tune in to see how a new cast of Yo-kai interrupts Nate’s normal life in unexpected and hilarious ways. If you missed the first season, the show will be available to purchase later this Fall and is now available to stream on Netflix.
