Five supermarkets have been advised to recall thousands of own-brand yoghurts manufactured by Yeo Valley as they may contain small pieces of rubber.

Products supplied to Tesco, Asda, Co-op, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose have been recalled due to safety fears, though Yeo Valley says the risk is low.
Dr Lisa Ackerley, a food safety expert, said people should not worry too much if they have eaten one of the affected products.
A spokesman added: “As a precautionary measure, we are asking all customers who have bought these products to return them to their nearest Sainsbury’s store, where they will receive a full refund”.
The retailers’ yoghurts from own brands like Tesco’s Finest and Sainsbury’s Basics have been taken off the shelves, as well as the Somerset-based company’s Collective Dairy Packs.
“The supplier has identified the cause and has identified all fruit conserves that may be affected”.
Co-op Rise & Shine Greek Style Yogurt and Raspberry (160g); Co-Op Strawberry and Raspberry Low Fat Yogurts (four pack); Co-op Truly Irresistible Limited Edition Mango, Brazilian Orange and Coconut Yogurt (150g).
Sainsbury’s Basics Fruit Selection Yogurts (four pack, two strawberry and two peach); Sainsbury’s Basics Strawberry Yogurt (125g).
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) issued a notice and said products “may contain pieces of rubber”.
Yeo Valley said their own branded products were not affected.
Some snacks from The Collective Dairy brand may also be affected. “We would like to apologise unreservedly to all customers”.
Recalls from Waitrose are 125g Deliciously fruity raspberry low fat yoghurt, Fragrant, creamy Scottish raspberry yoghurt 150g and Multipack Deliciously fruity low fat yoghurt 2 strawberry, 2 raspberry 4 x 125g all with use by 30 July to 15 August.
“The risks are probably pretty low”, she said.

No other batches or products are known to be affected and warning notices have been displayed at the point of sale at the stores.
