York’s weekend weather forecast: rain and shine
Highs will range from low 80s northwest to near 90 degrees down by the Red River. Low temperatures may not decrease much from afternoon highs, hovering in the 60-65 degree range.

That’s the same case for most of the United States, according to the NWS’s Climate Predicition Center. Looking ahead to next week we’ll continue with the dry weather & very warm temperatures.

Sunday: Partly sunny and comfortable. Eventually, we’ll bottom out at 58 under partly cloudy skies.
We are feeling those effects today with highs only reaching the mid to upper 70s. Northeast wind 5 to 7 miles per hour.
Today’s highs will be close to what we saw Thursday with mostly clear skies. The rain will continue light at first but become steadier and heavier this evening, tonight and especially into the overnight.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 51.
Rain chances increase Monday and Tuesday as an area of low pressure moves north across the Gulf of Mexico toward the central Gulf Coast.
Friday night: Rain expected.
