You bet Trump responded to America-hating Kaepernick, and he nailed it

I dont know if thats what Kaepernick wanted when he explained why he refused to stand for the national anthem at a 49ers game last weekend, but now everyone has an opinion and many of them arent flattering. They lost ini the Super Bowl to the Baltimore Ravens, coached by John Harbaugh, who shared his thoughts on Kaepernick on Monday. I just think its a matter of respect.

This “method of action” appears to be a popular stance among those who oppose what Kaepernick did.

“Like, it’s an oxymoron that you’re sitting down, disrespecting that flag that has given you the freedom to speak out”, Brees said.

“I think it would be more accurate to say he doesn’t agree with the issues and the problems with the country that are being put in the back seat”. No, he can speak out about a very important issue. The other part of it is, we’re a team, and anything we do, you respect our team, our organization and the other players, and you respect the mission that we’re on and what we’re trying to accomplish. I think it’s a awful thing.

As more supporters and detractors react to Colin Kaepernick’s protest, one unexpected voice is speaking out. But when I look at that flag, I think about them too. But he also understands the trials and tribulations that he goes through as an African-American male in this country.

Kaepernick had actually made the same choice during the 49ers’ first two preseason games, per Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network. It was his personal, civil protest, his exercise in free speech you know, that No. 1 American ideal. The quarterback says he plans to sit through the anthem until he sees significant progress in race relations in the United States. We are still in that country. Even when people talk about rioting and everything that’s happening after another black person gets killed, but they don’t talk about what led to it, what created this culture where this is the norm now. “But this is my country and consequently I don’t want to open up for ISIS or for anybody that will take away what we’ve already gained”.
