Apparently though, celebrities have a hard time finding matches on the platform because other users are slow to accept that they are indeed who they say they are. Then you’ll be pleased to hear that the popular dating app has introduced a verification tick, making it that much easier to bag an A-list lover.
Verification might be a great new feature for the common folk who stumble upon high-profile people.
On social networks, hoax accounts are often more entertaining than those from the real celebrities. However, there have been some talks that they will also try to get verified accounts for everyone – though I’m not sure how that would work. Now celebrities – and CEOs, famous athletes, directors, producers, politicians, anyone in the public eye – can be “verified” on Tinder by using Verified Profiles.

It was revealed in a Tinder blog post today that, just like Facebook and Twitter, famous people using the app will be verified with a blue tick.
